This initiative is an extension of the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, extending south from the red panda gate, on the hooker’s trail. In tune with nature, the camp consists of 12 comfort rooms, an eco-friendly dining space and a nature activated campus suitable for all, from children to elderly persons. "We stayed here for two tranquil nights. The room was very modern, comfortable and very clean. As others have said, the approach road is pretty bad which makes it a slow 7km climb. However, it's worth it as once you arrive, you find a haven of peace and nature. The staff are very warm and personable, delivering great service. The food was delicious, nice and spicy and they provided excellent vegetarian dishes for us. We walked to the nearby statue of Mahatma Sirijanga and also to Barsey Rhodedendron Sanctuary as the Red Panda Gate is very close too. It was also nice just wandering through the nearby villages, filled with friendly people. A top tip: pop in to nearby Chayatal Heritage Homestay to pick up some of their delicious homemade rhodedendron or guava wine from Parish!"

"A rough road ended in front of the Red Panda Jungle Camp gate. The first thing that caught the eye was that the inauguration was done by the Chief Minister of Sikkim. A small driveway led to the reception, and we were warmly welcomed. After the initial formalities (along with the welcome drinks), we were led to our cottages/rooms. We were a total of 12 people, so we had 2 Premium rooms and 2 interconnected Super Deluxe rooms in the same cottage. That worked perfectly well for us."

"The location, with its serenity and tranquility, takes the cake. It is quite remote, takes a long time to reach from Siliguri and the last stretch of road from Hee Bazar to the camp is unpaved. But it's worth the trouble. The property is new and well maintained, rooms are spacious & tastefully designed, the staff on site is always ready to help with a smile, the food is homely, dining area is cosy, the greenery within the camp is impressive."

The twin villages Hee and Bermiok are located at the foothills of Chaaya tal, at a height of 8400 ft. The rocky crags, steep slopes and deep ravines make the misty mountains around Chaaya Taal a perfect place for adventure. The Resort can boast of all modern architecture and amenities and a superb 5G connection which was a real surprise Tapan being the only driver couldn't ask for more adventure .It was more than enough for us."
